Overview of Services

Flow Cytometry Core provides access to state-of-the-art cell sorter (Sony SH800), analyzers (BD LSRII, Luminex Amnis ImageStream^X Mk II) and workstations complemented by BZ-X810 All-in-One Fluorescence Microscope to quantitatively analyze individual cells and identify different subpopulations of cells. The facility is dedicated to advancing scientific research by providing hands-on training, technical support for grant and publication preparation, development of experimental designs as well as assistance with data analysis. The Flow Cytometry Core Facility housed in Research and Education Building (Room 124) provides all UNTHSC investigators access to high quality, cost-effective flow cytometry services. Services include unassisted and assisted sample acquisition, cell sorting, support for designing assays, and data analysis. By providing these services, as well as the scientific expertise necessary to effectively use this technology, the facility serves to enhance the scope and quality of scientific research performed at UNTHSC.
